I am so excited to share some of my favs from Rebecca and Adam’s spring engagement session at Cincinnati’s Smale Riverfront Park! This location was special to this sweet couple because Adam proposed on the Roebling Bridge… on Christmas morning! It was only 15 degrees that morning (freezing!), but there were snow flurries falling as he knelt on one knee over the Ohio River to pop the question! How romantic and magical is that?! Thankfully, we had the perfect spring weather for their engagement shoot, full of sunshine, the beginnings of blooming flowers and some gorgeous golden hour light. Not only were we able to enjoy some warm weather and capture some beautiful photos, Rebecca and Adam’s outfit choices were absolutely fab as well!
As we walked from the outskirts of downtown Cincinnati, to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, down to the Roebling Bridge and then into Smale Park, we were able to also enjoy some good conversation. I loved hearing about how Rebecca and Adam met and how they bonded over their shared enjoyment of some pub trivia. On their first date, in fact, they played and won best team name – “Dr. Hot Wheels” – as she is a NICU doctor and he works for Mattel, the top toy brand owner of hot wheels cars. So clever! An award-winning duo these two are! I can’t wait to capture their special day!
